Rohs joined The Wildlife Experience as Director of Development in June of 2006. Prior to that, she was the Community Relations Manager for StorageTek and subsequently Sun Microsystems after Sun acquired StorageTek in September 2005. Rohs managed the StorageTek Foundation and the community relations strategy, which included grant making, sponsorships, employee giving campaign, and employee diversity groups. Prior to StorageTek, Mrs. Rohs was the Senior Development Officer at The Children’s Museum of Denver for 3 years where she was responsible for corporate and individual fundraising. Mrs. Rohs was recently named one of the Denver Business Journal’s 2007 “Forty Under 40,” a program that recognizes young, up-and-coming business leaders. Ruth is active with the Junior League of Denver, Women’s Foundation of Colorado, and is the founder and President of the Mardi Gras Krewe de Colorado. She recently graduated from the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Leadership Denver program. She is a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana and has lived in Denver for 12 years.
